Norman Blieden holds a CPA
certificate from the State of California and is also a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He was born in South Africa and immigrated
to the USA in 1979.
He was a Chartered Accountant
in South Africa and graduated from the University of The Witwatersrand,
Johannesburg, with majors in accounting and taxation. South African
public accounting experience was with Arthur Young and Arthur
Anderson.
Norman also owned and operated
a successful hotel and restaurant business for three years in
South Africa. In 1979 he worked as an accounting manager for Oasis
Petroleum Corporation in Culver City, California and the annual
sales of this entity were in excess of one billion dollars. He
went into private practice in 1989 and offers a broad range of
services to retail businesses, service industry, manufacturers
and tax clients. His present clients range from individuals and
small corporations to those businesses that make about $50 million
per year in sales. Norman is passionate about golf, tennis and
hiking. He has a particular interest in antique automobiles
